Pergo Presto is a glueless laminate floor that is installed by sliding the pieces into one another by the way of groove and tongue. Can you lay carpet on top of laminate flooring, or does the laminate have to be taken up?

It is possible to install carpet over laminate, but it is not a good idea. The carpet cannot be glued to the laminate because it will adhere poorly.
